Job Description
The Distribution Operations Manager (2nd-shift) is responsible for leading the daily operations of multiple departments within a Delivery Distribution Center (DDC). This role provides leadership and development to building supervisors, ensuring all performance, safety, and quality policies and procedures meet Best Buy’s high standards. The manager actively participates in long- and short-term planning for the center, maintains operational efficiency, and implements process improvements to meet operational goals and P&L budgets. They foster an environment of openness and trust among employees and build collaborative relationships across departments to achieve business objectives. Additionally, they assist in managing the facility in the building leader’s absence. This position reports to the Distribution Center building leader and supports the 2nd shift of the distribution center.
