Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Manager, Digital Assets Business Operations & Strategy (individual contributor) to define and execute strategic crypto initiatives. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive growth and operational excellence on Schwab’s digital assets offerings.

The Digital Assets Business Operations & Strategy team is driving the strategy and execution of Schwab’s crypto offerings. The team leads high-impact initiatives that shape the future of Schwab’s presence in this rapidly evolving space. We combine strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights and recommendations that influence product development, market positioning, and long-term growth.

As Manager, Digital Assets Business Operations & Strategy (individual contributor), you’ll help define and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across our digital assets offerings, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and execute strategic crypto projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. product, technology, finance, risk, and operations)

• Synthesize large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights, develop business cases, and inform product and market strategies

• Build and maintain perspectives on industry trends, competitor actions, and regulatory developments in digital assets

• Develop high-impact presentations and analysis for executive audiences

• Own workstreams within complex projects and drive end-to-end delivery, from ideation to implementation

• Cultivate strong relationships across the organization and with external partners to advance strategic priorities

• Exercise professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in strategy or operating roles within financial services, technology, or consulting
• Demonstrated experience in analytics, financial modeling, and business case development
• Excellent problem-solving and storytelling abilities; proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills; proven ability to work across functions and drive alignment
• High attention to detail, sense of urgency, and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Passion for learning and intellectual curiosity about emerging technologies and financial innovation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or passion with crypto or digital assets
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.)
