Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in New York City seeks a senior Radiology leader to oversee the X-Ray and CT departments at our Main Hospital Campus. You will guide high-quality, efficient, patient-centered imaging services in a premier cancer care setting.

You will lead radiologic technologists, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive workflow improvements while mentoring staff and advancing oncologic imaging.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years in Diagnostic Radiology or CT with leadership experience
  • Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license
  • Current ARRT certification; CT experience/advanced CT preferred
  • Experience leading teams in a complex hospital or healthcare environment
  • Solid knowledge of imaging operations, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

Role Overview
  • Manage the technical functions, activities, and daily operations of the X-Ray and CT departments at MSK's Main Hospital Campus

  • Lead and support teams of radiologic and CT technologists to provide high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered imaging services

  • Ensure departmental operations meet MSK and regulatory standards for quality, safety, compliance, and patient care

  • Partner with Radiology leadership, radiologists, nursing, and other clinical teams to optimize workflow and address operational needs

  • Monitor staffing, scheduling, productivity, quality, and other operational measures to ensure effective coverage and performance

  • Support staff development, engagement, competency, and ongoing education

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, patient experience, quality, and operational efficiency

  • Serve as a clinical and operational resource for X-Ray and CT services

Key Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, X-Ray, and/or CT preferred, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience

  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license

  • Current ARRT certification

  • CT experience and/or advanced CT certification preferred

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams within a complex hospital or healthcare environment preferred

  • Strong knowledge of imaging operations, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

  • Effective Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage staff and collaborate across departments

  • Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm (flexibility as needed)

Pay Range: $136,400.00 - $225,100.00FSLA Status: Exempt
