About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, DevOps / Cloud Platform to lead a team responsible for CI/CD, Internal Developer Portal (IDP), and cloud infrastructure automation in Azure and AWS. This role combines technical depth with people leadership and drives platform reliability, observability, developer experience, and DevOps maturity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor DevOps / Cloud Engineers; manage performance and development plans.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Oversee CI/CD standardization for Java, .Net, and Node.js workloads.
  • Drive Internal Developer Portal adoption and golden path enablement.
  • Guide Terraform and Infrastructure as Code standards and guardrails.
  • Embed DevSecOps best practices into pipelines and cloud platforms.
  • Lead Proof‑of‑Concept initiatives for new tools and automation improvements.
  • People lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team. Provide career guidance, performance feedback, and coaching.
  • Promote inclusion, trust, and engagement across distributed teams.
  • Client partner with internal engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps platforms.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure responsive, high‑quality service and proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Align platform capabilities with client needs to maximize business impact. Value automation, operational efficiency, and cloud cost optimization across Azure and AWS.
  • Deliver self‑service platform capabilities to accelerate developer productivity.
  • Establish and enforce best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
  • Continuously improve service reliability, scalability, and performance while minimizing risk.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Hands‑on AWS and/or Azure expertise from architecture to operations.
  • Extensive Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of public cloud architecture and operations (Azure and AWS).

  • Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and service mesh technologies.
  • Strong collaboration, transparency, and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications
  • AWS and/or Azure certifications (Professional‑level preferred).
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise a team of DevOps and cloud platform engineers.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance.
  • Allocate resources effectively across projects and operations.
  • Establish clear goals and accountability for the team.
Compensation
  • Base salary ranges vary by location (e.g., $161,000–$220,440 for certain California roles).
