Job summary

Subway is seeking a skilled analytics professional to maintain and enhance the Development reporting suite, translating data into actionable insights for restaurant growth and portfolio optimization. You will partner with Development, IT, and business teams to deliver timely, accurate dashboards and analyses.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, independent work, and strategic data-driven decision-making within a permanent, full-time capacity in Miami, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence using SQL, Excel, Tableau and Smartsheet.
• Strong analytic skills and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Business Intelligence experience in report and dashboard development using Tableau, Excel and Smartsheet.
• Strong SQL development/scripting experience (Amazon Redshift preferred).
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience meeting with business team members to gather requests and turn vague requirements into action (reports, process improvements, data warehouse enhancements, etc.).
• Experience building workflows in Alteryx.
• Ability to partner with IT resources and translate business requirements into technical requirements

Responsibilities

• Development Reporting & Dashboard Maintenance — Update and maintain core Development reports, including the Development Dashboard, NRG Forecast, ClosureRisk, Renewals, and Transfer Analysis, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc Reporting & Data Requests — Field and fulfill requests from various departments, including ad hoc queries, data pulls, and custom reporting/data requests.
• Tool & Dashboard Development — Update, develop, and continuously improve existing tools and dashboards that support the Development team's strategic actions and decision-making; conduct ad hoc projects and analyses as requested.
• Analysis & Stakeholder Communication — Analyze and communicate/present actionable results; interact with key partners such as the Development team, business teams, and IT partners.
• Strategic Analytics Consulting — Act as strategic consultant for the company to help interpret data and support informed Development decisions.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for maintaining, developing, and continuously improving the standardized reporting and

analytical tools that support Subway's Development organization. The role owns the accuracy, timeliness, and ongoing

enhancement of the core Development reporting suite, and serves as a key analytics partner for the Development team

and cross-functional stakeholders across the business, translating data into insights that support restaurant growth,

closure mitigation, and portfolio optimization decisions.
