Subway is seeking a data analytics professional to maintain and enhance the standardized reporting suite for the Development organization. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and provide insights that drive restaurant growth and portfolio optimization.

Collaborate with Development, IT, and business teams to translate data into actionable recommendations. The role emphasizes analytics consulting, dashboard development, and stakeholder communication to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data analytics, reporting, or BI experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau and Smartsheet.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• BI reporting and dashboard development using Tableau, Excel and Smartsheet.
• Strong SQL development/scripting, preferably Amazon Redshift.
• Ability to work independently and translate requests into actions.
• Experience building workflows in Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting and dashboard maintenance for the Development suite.
• Handle ad hoc reporting and data requests from multiple departments.
• Develop tools and dashboards to support the Development team's strategic actions.
• Analyze and present actionable results to cross-functional partners.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for maintaining, developing, and continuously improving the standardized reporting and

analytical tools that support Subway's Development organization. The role owns the accuracy, timeliness, and ongoing

enhancement of the core Development reporting suite, and serves as a key analytics partner for the Development team

and cross-functional stakeholders across the business, translating data into insights that support restaurant growth,

closure mitigation, and portfolio optimization decisions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Development Reporting & Dashboard Maintenance — Update and maintain core Development reports, including the Development Dashboard, NRG Forecast, Closure Risk, Renewals, and Transfer Analysis, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc Reporting & Data Requests — Field and fulfill requests from various departments, including ad hoc queries, data pulls, and custom reporting/data requests.
• Tool & Dashboard Development — Update, develop, and continuously improve existing tools and dashboards that support the Development team's strategic actions and decision-making; conduct ad hoc projects and analyses as requested.
• Analysis & Stakeholder Communication — Analyze and communicate/present actionable results; interact with key partners such as the Development team, business teams, and IT partners.
• Strategic Analytics Consulting — Act as strategic consultant for the company to help interpret data and support informed Development decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence using SQL, Excel, Tableau and Smartsheet;
• Strong analytic skills and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Business Intelligence experience in report and dashboard development using Tableau, Excel and
• Smartsheet.
• Strong SQL development/scripting experience (Amazon Redshift preferred).
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience meeting with business team members to gather requests and turn vague requirements into action
• (reports, process improvements, data warehouse enhancements, etc.).
• Experience building workflows in Alteryx.
• Ability to partner with IT resources and translate business requirements into technical requirements
