Job summary

47 Brand LLC in Westwood, MA, is seeking a Design Manager - Graphics to lead the apparel graphics design process and ensure seasonal collections are translated accurately and on time.

Reporting to the Senior Graphic Manager, you will manage graphic designers, maintain brand standards, and collaborate with Brand and PM teams to develop on-brand graphic packages. You will oversee trend research and drive creative direction from concept through final artwork.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years managerial experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of apparel techniques and execution
• Strong writing and communication skills and grammatical proficiency
• Ability to communicate results to team & management and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter able to work independently, leading and managing multiple projects
• Comfortable and confident in making effective decisions in a timely manner
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Manages graphic designers and monitors their daily workload
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of all artworks meet brand standards
• Maintains support for Brand and PMs to foster relationships internally and externally
• Conducts seasonal line reviews with designers for clear workflows
• Reviews new graphic packages with Graphics Team for accuracy & quality
• Relays workload progress, issues and concerns to Design leadership
• Inspires a creative working environment with all direct reports
• Researches new graphic trends for seasonal product lines
• Collaborates with Design Team on innovative graphics for all collections
• Understands ’47 Brand consumer, brand positioning, competitors, and market brands
• Drives seasonal Graphic Creative Direction and presents concepts
• Creates presentation materials communicating concepts and inspiration
• Ensures designs reflect the brand philosophy and standards
• Uses research and design skills to create original designs
• Adheres to design calendar and timelines
• Finalizes templates and reviews with design, development, and production
• Partners with Brand and PM teams to develop best possible products
• Translates ideas from concept to on-brand graphic packages
• Works with PMs and Key Account Sales to create SMUs
• Translates project briefs from PMs to PMs for approval
• Provides information and guidance to product team
• Performs other duties as directed by Senior Design Manager
