The Manager, Data Standards Digital Integration will lead the development and implementation of a business process excellence framework, spearheading the adoption of SPS, a third-party software solution for streamlined electronic integration between manufacturers and distributors. This role will establish a consistent data mapping protocol for integrating key vendors with SAP S/4 HANA and optimize the onboarding process through the aforementioned implementation. Responsibilities include managing communication with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to strategic decisions, and proactively monitoring project timelines to ensure timely and successful deployment. The Manager will oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of the SPS tool and its integrated vendor network.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage communications planning and deployment for the various work streams and projects aligned to the vendor digital integrations initiative, creating communication strategies that keep employees informed and engaged, and translate business needs into action.
Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines related to business vendor digital integration initiatives.
Lead dotted line and direct reporting employees to successfully achieve personal and team goals.
Leverages robust quality control throughout the project lifecycle to uphold the highest standards. Systematically monitors deliverables, processes, and documentation at various development stages to enable early identification and rectification of deviations, ensuring the final output meets required quality benchmarks and contributes to project success and reliability.
Partner and influence to set strategy for key process and system improvements as it relates to vendor digital integrations to better enable Airgas to achieve strategic business goals. Provide Subject Matter Expertise covering electronic vendor platforms to drive measurable improvements in program effectiveness.
Data Mapping Integrity – responsible for accuracy and timeliness of SAP account updates; this includes communication of updates to key stakeholders involved in customer solutions.
Support development, roll-out, hypercare and on-going maintenance following go live of a vendor’s solution requirements.
Review and resolve root cause of vendor disputes to ensure continuous improvement.
Develops plans to improve the customer experience of current and existing eBusiness customers.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree / Four-year college degree from an accredited institution. Or 5+ years of management and business operations experience
3 + years of progressive professional experience including business process management and improvement experience
Required Length & Type of Experience:
Experience with third party applications related to Master Data elements
3 + years experience with SAP ECC / S/4 Hana.
Proven skills in working multiple initiatives and complex tasks, with the ability to consistently exceed communication objectives in a frequently changing environment.
Project management experience with systems integration.
Familiarity with basic data standards of master data and vendor management principles, technology and terminology
Sufficient management experience in a technical integration context with strong team leadership skills
Experience with customer service/communication
Comprehensive understanding of efficiency principles such as Lean/Six Sigma
Experience successfully leveraging business analytics to inform decisions
Experience in Google platform
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA’s):
Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite software
Strong in Excel and Google sheets
In depth knowledge of SAP
Strong analytical skills
Methodical and extremely organized with the ability to work and navigate within a fast paced and complex organization
Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements
Strong presentation skills
Must be capable of operating independently, but readily seek the counsel of others, when necessary
Ability to communicate and deliver presentations with impact
Team player who can collaborate to drive better outcomes
Ability to set goals and motivate self
