Bain Capital is seeking a Manager for its Central Data Governance Team in Boston. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain data governance capabilities across various functions. Responsibilities include analyzing workflows, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders.
A minimum of 10 years in asset management or a related field is required, alongside strong communication skills and a can-do attitude. Compensation is competitive, with a base salary of $125,000 – $140,000 and additional benefits.
The successful candidate will join Bain Capital’s Central Data Governance Team as a Manager and report to the Credit & Special Situations Data Governance Team Lead. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, adoption, and maintenance of a spectrum of data governance capabilities and solutions.
These capabilities include but are not limited to data process redesign/modernization projects, data issue management, data quality management, data catalog management, data health KPI’s and metrics reporting, and visualization tool and AI‑enablement.
This role will work very closely with a variety of functions such as Investment and Trade Operations, Finance, Data Analytics & Reporting, Portfolio Management, Investor Relations and Information Technology.
Compensation: Expected Annual Base Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 (actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors, including role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location). In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
