Job description

Company Description

PHM is the leading health media agency in the US, built for the modern healthcare experience. Here, industry depth meets media scale, where data becomes direction, where creativity and storytelling bring truth to life, and where orchestration replaces fragmentation.

Dedicated to making brands discovered, PHM redefines what media can do through data, content, and creativity. Because in modern healthcare, the brands that are found are the ones that lead. And when brands lead, advantage follows. Go deeper. Be found.

Job Description

Responsible for supporting data products and automation, this resource plays a role in the building and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) and data warehouse solutions and initiatives used by internal and external stakeholders. These solutions and initiatives include dashboard visualization and reporting development; data warehouse solution design and development; and data ingestion, quality assessment, and delivery.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of MCI (Datorama) data products and BI solutions for key pharmaceutical clients, balancing long‑term platform evolution with day‑to‑day execution.
  • Define and continuously improve data governance, taxonomy and classification standards, and data harmonization best practices; drive quality, consistency, and scalability across data architecture, ETL processes, reporting logic, and operational workflows.
  • Identify and champion opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate manual processes; partner with engineering and business leaders to leverage AI, intelligent automation, and agentic solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Lead the ongoing development of scalable data products, reporting solutions, and automation workflows; evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that modernize the team’s capabilities.
  • Lead cross‑functional planning and prioritization, serving as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and Data Enablement and Engineering teams - proactively identifying risks, removing blockers, and driving alignment across teams and leadership.
  • Lead and mentor analysts by providing technical guidance, establishing best practices, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience with MCI (Datorama), with demonstrated ownership of complex reporting solutions, data models, or enterprise implementations.
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills with demonstrated experience building scalable data solutions, automation, and AI‑enabled capabilities. Databricks and/or Snowflake strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of media taxonomy, metadata management, classification strategies, and data harmonization best practices.
  • Experience designing or leveraging AI‑powered solutions, LLMs, intelligent automation, or agentic workflows to improve business or technical operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership driving complex cross‑functional initiatives and aligning technical and business stakeholders around shared objectives; strong coaching and mentorship skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Systems‑thinking mindset with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills, and a passion for building scalable, high‑quality data products.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience serving as a product owner or technical lead for enterprise BI platforms.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other modern BI platforms.
  • Background in digital marketing and/or pharmaceutical data.
  • Experience directly managing or developing technical teams; experience defining enterprise taxonomy, classification, or metadata governance standards.
  • Experience leading AI adoption initiatives or building internal AI‑enabled tools and workflows.
  • Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
