Walmart is seeking a Manager of Data Analytics to build and scale analytics that measure performance, identify levers, and enable faster, higher-quality decisions across the US eCommerce Marketplace.

You will partner with Product, Business, Finance, and Technology to define KPIs, standardize metrics, improve data quality, and deliver insights that drive seller growth, customer experience, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field with 2 years' statistical experience OR 4 years' statistical analysis experience.
• MBA or related field preferred; project management, compliance, operations mgmt.
• Project Management Certification

• Build dashboards, AI agents, and pipelines with strong data governance.

Position Summary

The Walmart US eCommerce Marketplace team empowers sellers worldwide to reach millions of buyers. As a Manager of Data Analytics, you will build and scale business analytics capabilities that measure performance, identify operational and financial levers, and enable faster, higher-quality decisions. You will partner with Product, Business, Finance, and Technology to define business KPIs, standardize metrics, improve data quality, and deliver insights that drive seller growth, customer experience, and profitability. This role requires strong analytical rigor, end-to-end ownership (from problem framing to measurement to impact tracking), and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for leadership.

The Seller Fulfilled Services Analytics team operates with startup agility backed by enterprise scale. Embedded directly across Product, Engineering, and Business functions, we act as proactive strategic partners rather than traditional report-builders.

What you'll do

• Strategy & Performance: Product and marketplace data will be analyzed to define KPIs, optimize strategies, and size growth opportunities.
• Analytics & Engineering: Dashboards, AI Agents, and pipelines will be built to maintain high data governance and accelerate time-to-insight.
• Data Science: A/B tests, predictive machine learning models, and statistical analyses will be executed to forecast trends and evaluate product impact.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Actionable insights will be communicated to cross-functional partners and senior leadership during regular business reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR).

What you'll bring

• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in statistical modeling, experimentation (A/B testing), data architecture, and building scalable BI tools.
• Business & Strategy: Proven track record of using data-driven insights to manage risk, drive continuous improvement, and solve complex business problems.
• Leadership & Project Delivery: Ability to manage long-term analytics projects end-to-end and guide cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
• Communication & Governance: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong focus on data accuracy and translating complex metrics into actionable insights.

Salary

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area OR 4 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Managing a budget, profit and loss statement, or relate financial process, Master's degree in Business Administration or related field like (not limited to) project management, compliance, operations management, or related area, Project Management Certification
