The Role

We’re hiring a Manager to lead Data & AI strategy engagements across private markets and alternative investments.

This is a workstream leadership role within large-scale data transformation programs. You’ll sit at the intersection of business strategy, operating model design, and data enablement, guiding clients through complex decisions across front-, middle-, and back-office data domains.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to own delivery, lead teams, and influence senior stakeholders — not just contribute analysis.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading one or more data strategy and operating model workstreams
• Owning delivery plans, cadence, risks, and quality of outputs
• Translating business strategy into practical data strategy and governance models
• Defining and aligning core private markets data domains, including:
  • Client, Fund, Investment, Deal
  • Portfolio Company, Exposure, Cashflows
  • Valuations and IR-related data
• Driving alignment across business, data, and technology stakeholders
• Facilitating workshops to align on decision requirements, processes, and data enablement
• Producing executive-ready materials that simplify complexity and drive decisions
• Partnering with technical teams to guide business-led architectural direction
• Coaching and developing Consultants and Senior Consultants
• Contributing to the evolution of Data & AI capabilities within private markets

What We’re Looking For

• 6–9+ years’ experience in:
  • Consulting, or
  • Private markets / asset management, or
  • Data strategy and transformation roles
• Strong understanding of private markets workflows and decision-making
• Proven ability to lead workstreams within complex, cross-functional programs
• Experience structuring ambiguous problems into clear priorities and delivery paths
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Ability to bridge business needs with data governance, operating models, and enablement
• Solid literacy in modern cloud-native data platforms (conceptual level)
• Track record of mentoring and developing junior team members
