Job description

The Trade Desk is a global technology company and the world’s leading independent platform for digital advertising, with over 3,000 employees across more than 30 offices. Our technology helps advertisers reach the right audiences across the open internet — from streaming TV and podcasts to mobile apps, news, and more.

Advertising powers the content people love. By making it more transparent, effective, and responsible, we help support trusted journalism, quality entertainment, and creators worldwide. The world’s brands and agencies rely on us to reach their customers and grow their businesses responsibly.

The scale of our platform brings unique technical challenges — from processing massive datasets in real time to building systems that operate reliably on a global scale. When you work here, your impact is worldwide. We welcome diverse perspectives, encourage curiosity, and build teams that learn from one another. If you’re driven to solve meaningful challenges, we’d love to meet you.

TTD’s in-house Creative Shop is looking for an experienced creative operations manager to bring clarity and structure to our marketing and creative work. You will own creative projects end to end, manage team capacity, and lead our relationships with production agencies and other creative vendors. You are curious, process-obsessed, and energized by a fast-paced environment; you turn ambiguity into clear plans and help everyone do their best work. You are also savvy with AI and use it to improve both creative and project management workflows.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage creative projects end to end, from intake and scoping through production, review, approval, and deployment
  • Build and maintain project plans and timelines, adjusting as priorities shift
  • Plan and manage team capacity: allocate work across the creative team, forecast demand, and flag resourcing gaps and risks early
  • Own relationships with our production agencies and creative vendors, including briefing, scoping, budgets, SOWs, invoice tracking, and performance
  • Serve as the liaison between business leads and the creative team, ensuring briefs are complete, creative ops best practices are followed, and communication stays clear
  • Coordinate legal review and sign-off for marketing collateral and media
  • Report on project status, capacity, and vendor spend, and flag prioritization trade-offs to senior marketing and operations leaders
  • Evaluate and introduce AI-enabled tools and workflows that improve the speed and quality of creative work
Who you are:
  • 5-7+ years of project or program management experience in a creative/digital agency or in-house creative team
  • Strong command of project management best practices and tools (Asana a plus), and hands-on experience applying AI to creative or project workflows
  • Proven track record managing a high-volume of concurrent projects end to end under tight deadlines
  • Experience with resource and capacity planning
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including with senior leaders across functions
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to pivot quickly while maintaining attention to detail
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Experience with content/editorial operations a plus
