Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications and brand strategy.
• Excellent writing and concise communication.
• Ability to work across teams in a highly collaborative way.
• Strong project management and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategy and execution of GEICO’s key corporate initiatives to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate complex concepts into memorable, emotionally relevant content.
• Build communications and materials across internal and external channels.
• Delivers high-quality content via automated emails, live webinars, recorded videos, etc.
• Able to manage and provide leadership to a small team of Communication Specialists and other partners.
• Establishes processes that maximize collaboration and delivery of results.
• Tracks and reports progress of programs and campaigns.
• Generates ideas to meet business needs in new ways.
• Demonstrates understanding of GEICO’s business and industry.
• Adheres to GEICO Code of Conduct and policies.
• Meets attendance at location to perform necessary job functions.
