The Liberty Company is seeking a Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead the accounting operations across the general ledger, producer compensation, and accounts payable. You will supervise a team of accounting professionals, ensure accurate financial reporting, and coach staff for ongoing growth.

You will drive month-end close, uphold GAAP standards, and partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic objectives while delivering timely, high-quality financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required or equivalent.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations across general ledger, producer compensation, and accounts payable.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables.

This position leads a team of accounting professionals and ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. The role coaches team members to apply accounting concepts and improve processes, critically analyzes the financial impact of business decisions, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and support organizational strategy. This position also communicates complex accounting and financial topics clearly to non-finance partners, and develops a cohesive, high-performing team through regular coaching, feedback, and support for professional growth.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*** Manage accounting operations across general ledger, producer compensation, and accounts payable teams.* Ensure accurate and timely completion of the month-end and year-end close process.* Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables.* Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.* Partner with cross-functional departments to support ad-hoc requests, business operations and strategic goals.* Analyze financial data and trends; recommend and implement solutions.* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals to drive high performance.## Qualifications**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.* Proficient in Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Passion for building out processes, problem-solving and working independently.* Highly organized, accurate, detail-oriented and takes pride in the quality of their work.* Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.* 7-10 years of accounting experience, with some supervisory or lead responsibility.
