SCP Health is seeking a skilled Corporate Accounting professional to join our finance team in the United States. You will manage the monthly close, mentor a team of accountants, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting under US GAAP.

Responsibilities: Manage the monthly close process, which includes the preparation of flash results throughout the close process. Lead and mentor a team of Corporate Accounting professionals responsible for the monthly close and balance sheet account reconciliation activities. Review and approve monthly journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Prepare or review and approve monthly variance analyses of current period results against prior periods and current projections. Post-close, prepare timely monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Post-close, oversee the balance sheet account reconciliation process, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled in a timely manner. Establish and maintain effective internal controls related to the monthly close and balance sheet account reconciliation processes, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Review current processes and procedures and implement new improvements for efficiencies and accuracies. Manage and support Corporate Accounting team through coaching and a collaborative management style. Assists with accounting and integration efforts for M&A activities. Assists with establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures. Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
75,280.00 - 111,435.00 USD annually This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
