CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives. You'll work with Service Line Directors, sourcing teams, and clinical/business stakeholders to create category strategies that improve cost, quality, and service value.
Responsibilities include developing RFPs, evaluating suppliers, drafting and redlining contracts, negotiating terms, and leading awards to fully executed agreements, with limited travel.
The Contracts Manager is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and management of assigned strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives. Working in close partnership with Service Line Directors, the Strategic Sourcing team, and key clinical and business stakeholders, this role develops and executes best-in-class category strategies that deliver cost, quality, and service value. Key responsibilities include development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), supplier evaluations, contract drafting/redlining and negotiation, and driving to fully executed agreements. The Manager also manages awarded suppliers post-implementation, maintains strong stakeholder relationships, and effectively communicates initiative status, timelines, and outcomes.
