Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of healthcare contracts and procurement activities to support hospital operations, clinical services, and patient care.
• Negotiate, draft, and administer contracts; evaluate vendor proposals and pricing; ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and supply chain stakeholders to secure high‑quality, cost‑effective goods and services while mitigating operational, financial, and regulatory risks.

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of project/program management, healthcare contract negotiation, purchasing, and full‑cycle procurement processes within a hospital or clinical environment.
• Ability to analyze and develop optimal negotiation strategies by building rapport, actively listening, and identifying value‑based trade‑offs with vendors, physicians, and healthcare service providers.
• Detail‑oriented with strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, particularly in managing healthcare contracts and compliance requirements.
• Ability to coordinate and support operational and clinical initiatives, ensuring contracts align with service standards, patient care goals, and regulatory requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to collaborate across departments, including clinical, administrative, and internal supply chain teams, to support hospital contracting and procurement initiatives.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding contracting, purchasing, compliance, and contract performance.
• Ability to review and analyze healthcare contracts to identify financial, operational, and regulatory risks, including compliance with applicable healthcare laws and standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines).
• Bachelor's Degree degree or related/equivalent experience is required.
