**Responsibilities**

Ascension is in search of a dynamic and experienced Manager of Creative Content & Messaging to join our Brand Creative team. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping the verbal brand voice of Ascension, emphasizing expertise in overseeing all copywriting efforts and leading a team of copywriters. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, creativity, and a proven track record in crafting compelling content that resonates with our diverse audience. This role places a strong emphasis on protecting and building Ascension's verbal brand voice across a range of print, video, and digital channels in both short and long-form messaging.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Creative Strategy and Execution:

+ Lead the development of creative strategies, focusing on protecting and building Ascension's brand voice in both short and long-form messaging, aligned with brand and mission objectives

+ Oversee the execution of creative campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging standards.

+ Copywriting Oversight:

+ Provide leadership and strategic direction for all copywriting efforts within the Brand Creative team.

+ Ensure consistency, quality, and effectiveness in written communication across various channels, emphasizing the protection and enhancement of Ascension's brand voice

+ Content Development:

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and produce engaging and impactful content that connects consumers and patients to care

+ Ensure content consistency across digital, print, web/landing page and social media channels.

+ Messaging and Storytelling:

+ Craft compelling and cohesive messaging, emphasizing storytelling approaches that evoke emotion and connect with diverse communities while preserving Ascension's verbal brand voice.

+ Campaign Implementation:

+ Ensure seamless execution of creative campaigns, with a specific focus on the integration of impactful written content into broader campaign strategies.

+ Collaborate with marketing teams to align copywriting with overall campaign objectives and the preservation of the verbal brand voice.

+ Performance Analytics:

+ Lead and manage analytics related to creative content, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimizing assets, with a particular focus on measuring the effectiveness of Ascension's verbal brand voice.

+ Utilize data insights to refine future creative and copywriting strategies.

+ Brand Consistency:

+ Uphold and enhance Ascension's brand consistency in all creative outputs, emphasizing the protection and building of the verbal brand voice.

+ Ensure that written content reflects the values and mission of Ascension while maintaining a cohesive verbal brand identity.

**Requirements**

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

**Additional Preferences**

**Qualifications:**

+ Educational Background:

+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

+ MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.

+ Experience:

+ Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in creative content development, with a focus on overseeing copywriting efforts and leading a team of copywriters.

+ Industry Experience:

+ Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, or related industries is advantageous.

+ Creativity and Innovation:

+ Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, translating ideas into compelling and effective written content while preserving the verbal brand voice.

+ Project Management:

+ Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

+ Communication Skills:

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex creative and written concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

+ Adaptability:

+ Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing creative landscape.
