Base pay range

As the Manager, Content and Enablement at Pathify, you'll lead a talented team of three across marketing communications, customer marketing and product marketing. This role requires exceptional context-shifting abilities — one moment refining product positioning, the next partnering with demand generation on campaign messaging, and later collaborating on PR initiatives and speaking opportunities. Your comprehensive content vision will span the entire customer journey while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all platforms.

Your leadership will drive Pathify's market presence through strategic content initiatives, media relationships and thought leadership. You'll leverage market research and competitor insights to shape product positioning, support launches and aid in developing compelling materials from datasheets to case studies. Additionally, you'll oversee social media strategy and customer communications, maintaining consistent messaging across all channels.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead content and enablement team, including marketing communications, customer marketing and product marketing
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Marketing, fostering strong interdepartmental communication and collaboration
  • Oversight over all written content, with a strong focus on ensuring content adheres to internal style guide
  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies spanning the full customer journey, including compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks
  • Oversee content distribution and repurposing across multiple platforms while ensuring brand consistency and adherence to channel requirements
  • Maintain robust content governance through calendars, style guidelines, and quality review processes ensuring consistency in voice and tone
  • Drive content optimization through regular performance analysis, metrics tracking and content audits
  • Direct Pathify's PR agency relationship while crafting compelling press releases, editorials and media materials
  • Develop and submit proposals securing strategic industry speaking engagements
  • Build and nurture analyst relationships through regular briefings and tailored communications
  • Proactively monitor industry trends identifying and leveraging thought leadership opportunities
  • Assist in conducting market research and competitor analyses informing product positioning
  • Support the coordination of product launch strategies and go-to-market campaigns
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of product-focused content (datasheets, white papers, case studies)

Education, Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years experience managing direct reports
  • 5+ years experience in strategy, content management, or product marketing in SaaS and/or higher education
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to specific writing style guides
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet
  • Start-up professional experience required
  • Higher ed professional experience preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Where a Pathify office exists, a typical temperature-controlled office environment. Where no Pathify office exists, the employee will work virtually from home.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally lift, carry and balance up to 25 pounds

Expected Hours of Work:

This role is considered full-time, working approximately 40 hours per week and is exempt from overtime. As this role includes supporting events, some early mornings, late nights and weekend availability will be required. We are an international company, and you will likely work with customers and colleagues across time zones and continents. Some meetings will be scheduled during unconventional work hours to meet the needs of our customers or your colleagues and their workday schedules.
