Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Manager, Consumer Ventures & Strategy to support strategy and launch workstreams inside Dow Jones's biggest new consumer bets. You will take a workstream from thesis to live product: build the case, build the model, shape the GTM, line up partnerships, and design the org.

This on-site role reports to the VP, Consumer Ventures & Strategy and requires in-office presence in Midtown Manhattan three days per week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years combining top-tier consulting or corporate strategy with at least one operating tour.
• Fluency with AI and ideas about how to use it to achieve our goals.
• The willingness to work in our Midtown Manhattan office at least 3 days each week.
• A plus: Media, content, and/or subscription experience.
• A plus: Experience building and launching new things.

About the Role:

As the Manager, Consumer Ventures & Strategy , you will support strategy and launch workstreams inside Dow Jones's biggest new consumer bets. You will help take a workstream from thesis to live product: build the case, build the model, shape the GTM, line up partnerships, and design the org.

You will work on-site in our Midtown Manhattan office 3 days each week and report to the VP, Consumer Ventures & Strategy.

You Are:

• An operator, not just a deck maker; you can support the building and communication of the strategy, and also put it into action
• Analytical. You can build a financial model, understand user data and research, and know what questions to ask to evaluate an opportunity
• A consumer of media and news with a point of view about the future of the content and data business
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to bring structure to complex problems
• Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across levels, functions, industries, and geographies

You Will:

• Develop business cases, financial models, and launch plans for new ventures
• Support commercial, partnership, and org design decisions for new ventures

Base Pay Range:
