Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a seasoned Construction/Facilities Manager to oversee campus-wide construction and remodeling projects in compliance with local, state, and federal rules. You will manage permits, risk assessments, and hot work programs, reporting to the Exec Dir/Facilities.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering (or related field) with 5+ years in maintenance or construction management and 5+ years of regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance or construction management.
• 5+ years with CMS, Joint Commission, AHCA, or NFPA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages construction/remodeling projects campus-wide in compliance with regulations.
• Maintains Above Ceiling Permit Program, Preconstruction Risk Assessments, hot work permits, etc.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; Human Resources may substitute directly related professional experience for required education on a 1:1 basis.

Preferred Education: None.

Required Experience:

• Five (5) years of maintenance or construction management experience.
• Five (5) years of experience with CMS, Joint Commission, AHCA, and/or NPFA compliance.

Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare facilities or construction management role.

Responsibilities
