Manager, Compliance - Remote
The Compliance Manager works closely with designated business areas, Legal, and other internal partners to identify changing laws and regulations, accreditation standards, and client contractual compliance obligations. The role involves interpreting the impact and managing solutions for designated business areas, serving as a consultant to internal stakeholders on compliance initiatives, and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Execute compliance procedures, enforce policy governance, and ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met, aligning business operations with applicable guidance. Develop and maintain compliance, risk assessment, vendor, and ethics processes, audits, and communications based on business needs and risk ranking.
- Support investigations of compliance-related issues in collaboration with Legal and HR.
- Represent the compliance organization and Prime in contracts and enterprise projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advise management on policies, plans, and objectives; provide Subject Matter Expertise in areas such as ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, and Corporate Compliance.
- Develop and track metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of compliance functions.
- Manage compliance standards, procedures, and review documentation; develop strategies for regulatory changes to support change management efforts.
- Provide leadership to compliance professionals, role modeling Prime’s employee and leadership expectations.
- Oversee audit and corrective action plans, designing remedies and supporting their implementation and tracking.
- Evaluate training needs and develop programs to promote a compliance culture; manage conflict of interest and code of conduct programs if applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in legal or compliance roles within healthcare, PBM, or a highly regulated industry, including experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCEP or CHC.
- Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or PBM sectors.
- Advanced degrees like JD, MHA, or MPA.
- Leadership experience.

Reporting Structure
- Reports to Director or Senior Director of Compliance.
