The Role

eDriving is seeking a Manager of Compliance Operations to oversee solutions, policies, procedures, and standards related to the company's global suite of clients and their data security and privacy. This role collaborates across teams (product, customer success, engineering, etc.) to meet client expectations regarding privacy, data retention, and other compliance best practices. The Manager will also serve as a project manager for tasks related to eDriving's ISO 27001 audit program, working alongside the existing ISO team. The ideal candidate will have strong research and documentation skills, with the ability to stay updated on daily changes in global privacy requirements and best practices.

What You’ll Do

  1. Lead compliance efforts related to GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  2. Develop solutions, policies, standards, and procedures that align with business goals while protecting client information.
  3. Manage the implementation of data privacy compliance processes, risk management, control efforts, and privacy maturity initiatives.
  4. Partner with Client Implementation and Support Teams globally to address privacy concerns and facilitate the smooth introduction of eDriving products and services.
  5. Collaborate within eDriving’s ISO 27001 audit program and other audit processes with the existing ISO team.
  6. Work with Corporate privacy, security, and legal teams to ensure ongoing compliance.
  7. Support sales and legal teams in customer negotiations related to privacy and security Terms & Conditions.
  8. Conduct regular audits of processes and procedures to mitigate breaches and ensure effectiveness.
  9. Keep eDriving updated on global privacy requirements and best practices, including GDPR, CCPA, and expectations of Information Commissioners across countries.
  10. Liaise with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success Teams to meet customer privacy expectations.
  11. Develop and promote internal training programs on proper handling of PII.
  12. Assist in data breach response planning and develop playbooks to ensure timely escalation and resolution of incidents.
  13. Manage third-party risk assessments, contractual reviews, and stakeholder communication regarding supplier risks.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned, recognizing the fluid nature of responsibilities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Business Management, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data privacy.
  • Experience working with security frameworks in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to develop information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Experience conducting information security audits for compliance.
  • Background in business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Experience managing compliance audits, e.g., ISO 27001.
  • Ability to analyze data privacy controls and recommend remediation.
  • Strong understanding of global/enterprise risk management frameworks aligned with business strategy.
  • Knowledge of security architecture and enabling technology within enterprise IT frameworks.
