Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Competitive Intelligence to conduct research and analysis supporting corporate strategy initiatives. You will manage projects, present findings to senior leadership, and help shape strategic direction across the organization.

The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to influence across all levels. This remote position follows Eastern Time business hours and offers a salary range with bonus potential for a high-impact role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 2+ years in management consulting, strategic planning, or related initiatives.
• 7+ years of professional experience preferred.

Job Description

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. who can commit to working standard Eastern Time (ET) business hours.

Summary

As part of the Ryder team, the Manager, Competitive Intelligence performs research and analysis, including project management (often with broadly defined objectives), of corporate strategy initiatives. He/She will present this information and analysis to all levels of company management.

Essential Functions

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely
• Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant source of primary and secondary research, including industry analysts, market research firms, conferences, and others

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 115,000

Maximum Pay Range: 125,000
