Job summary

TOGETHXR seeks a Manager of Community Relations in Des Moines, IA to build and execute programs that grow the Iowa Wild’s community footprint. You will manage fan engagement, auctions, and thematic events while coordinating with Marketing, Sponsorship, and Ticket departments to elevate the brand.

As a leader, you will develop partnerships with local charities, create compelling program content, and oversee event operations and promotions to raise awareness and support for community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, or related field.
• At least two years of experience in event planning.
• Experience in sports or entertainment events preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Community Relations programs that promote the Iowa Wild brand and engage the public.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sponsorship, and Ticket departments to promote programs and generate revenue.
• Lead auctions and fan engagement initiatives to drive participation and fundraising.
• Plan and manage a comprehensive community events calendar, including off-season activities.
• Collaborate with local charities on events, fundraisers, and in-game promotions.
• Create content and storytelling around community programs and events, gathering photos, video, and participant stories.
