Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Commodity Manager to develop and execute broad commodity strategies across several subcategories. The role emphasizes supplier relationships, cost-down initiatives, and market intelligence to negotiate favorable terms and monitor supplier performance.

You will lead QBRs, RFQs, and routine supplier reviews, while coordinating with sustaining engineering and product management to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years sourcing experience in a large operation.
• At least 1 year at Senior Buyer or Strategic Buyer level in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute broad commodity strategies for MITER Brands.
• Lead commercial negotiations and supplier cost-down initiatives.
• Establish strategic supplier relationships and manage 3-4 subcategories.

Job DescriptionGENERAL PURPOSE:This position will be responsible to develop and execute a variety of broad Commodity strategies for MITER Brands. The Commodity Manager will be responsible for managing 3-4 subcategories.
