Job summary

IBJI, the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, is seeking a Manager of Coding, Revenue Integrity and Provider Engagement. This role leads professional coding operations, ensures compliant coding practices, oversees outsourced coding services, and partners with the Revenue Cycle to reduce denials and improve reimbursement across Illinois locations.

The candidate will standardize CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM coding, supervise coding teams, and develop provider education programs to translate coding trends

Qualifications

• Leadership and collaboration across coding, revenue integrity, and payer education.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for denials trends and process gaps.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM, CMS, NCCI and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for coding operations, quality, and workflow across IBJI
• Establish standardized coding practices and oversee outsourced coding
• Oversee coding work queues, denials analysis, and provider education
• Partner with Revenue Cycle to address denials and educate providers
• Develop and maintain coding policies, procedures and materials
• Coordinate education for new providers and onboarding processes
