Job summary

Centene is seeking a Manager, Clinical Quality Training to design, deliver, and evaluate training for the Quality department. This role is primarily remote with national consideration, enabling impact across the organization.

You'll identify training needs, develop materials, manage budgets, and measure ROI to improve performance, quality, and motivation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of training experience within the hiring departments function in managed care/insurance.
• Familiarity with computer based training tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of training methodologies and ROI evaluation.

Position Purpose

Identify training needs to enhance performance, quality, and motivation of corporate and field staff for the Quality department. Develop, conduct, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Key Details

The Manager, Clinical Quality Training position is primarily remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.

Responsibilities

Manages the activities related to various training and educational programs for the Quality department.Assesses and identifies individual or group training needs.Prepares a variety of training aids and materials.Determines appropriateness of contracting with outside vendors to accomplish organization's training goals and objectives.Analyzes training program effectiveness and submits reports and recommendations to management.Prepares and approves budgets and travel plans.

Highly Preferred Skills

Nursing license2+ years of experience with STAR measures3+ years of experience in HEDIS2+ years of experience with supplemental and medical record review activities2+ years of leadership experience

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of training experience within the hiring departments function, preferably in a managed care/insurance environment. Familiarity with computer based training tools, vendors and other technology based training platforms. Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning styles, and evaluative methodologies in measuring impact on organization and ROI of training expenditures. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.

Pay Range

$87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per year
