Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations, Early Development, Oncology to lead clinical operations support for early development oncology studies, ensuring disciplined, high-quality execution and cross-functional coordination.

Remote role for US-based candidates; oversees direct reports, resource planning, and collaboration with stakeholders and oversight groups to keep studies moving forward in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO, or investigational site.
• Demonstrated AI literacy and ability to apply AI tools responsibly.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with a focus on team productivity.
• Experience mentoring and coaching, with strong decision-making and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management to direct reports, including goal setting and performance evaluation.
• Evaluate and forecast resource needs for the assigned portfolio.
• Support flexible resourcing and collaborate with managers to hire qualified staff.
• Ensure compliance with training and procedural documentation for direct reports.
• Lead issue resolution and communicate with stakeholders such as Ethics Committees and Health Authorities.

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations, Early Development, Oncology to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will guide clinical operations support for early development studies within oncology, helping ensure programs are executed with discipline, quality, and strong cross-functional coordination. The position will oversee direct reports, support resource planning, and partner closely with internal stakeholders and external oversight groups to keep studies moving forward. It is well suited for a leader who brings clinical research experience, sound judgment, and the ability to drive team productivity in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $117,000 – $201,250 annually
