Saint Francis Healthcare System in Missouri is seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to lead clinical dietitian standards and ensure outcome-driven nutrition care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role develops and implements therapeutic programs, ensures staff coverage, assists with department budgeting, and maintains compliance with regulatory agencies, working under the Director for strategic direction.

Qualifications

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
  • Master's in food and nutrition or related field preferred.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred.
  • Valid Missouri license as a Dietitian is required, BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain standards of practice for clinical dietitians.
  • Ensure adequate dietitian coverage for inpatient and outpatient areas.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director, the Manager of Clinical Services responsibility is accountable for the standards of practice for clinical dietitians. They are responsible for establishing standards and policies as outlined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and assuring adherence to those standards. This role is responsible for assuring adequate dietitian coverage for the inpatient and outpatient areas. They have accountability for the development and implementation of therapeutic programs. In collaboration with the Director, the Manager of Clinical Services assures that patients' nutritional needs are met. Provides staff relief as necessary. Assists Director with department budget process. Maintains clinical standards for all regulatory agencies.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

No weekends or holidays

Education:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
  • Master's in food and nutrition or related field preferred.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred.
Certification & Licensures:
  • Valid license as a Licensed Dietitian for the state of Missouri, required
  • BLS certification, required
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in both acute care and outpatient settings.

Clinical Dietetics experience of at least 5 years in both acute and outpatient settings-preferred
