Job summary

MedFlight in Columbus, OH, seeks a Manager of Educational Services to lead clinical education, orientation, competency validation, and professional development across the organization.

You will oversee Education Coordinators, Clinical Instructors, Field Training Officers, and Preceptors, maintain the Learning Management System, ensure CAMTS/alignment with standards, and partner with Medical Directors and Operations to advance evidence-based education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Current unrestricted Ohio RN license or Ohio Paramedic certification.
• 3 years of progressively responsible experience in critical care transport, EMS, or healthcare education.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates orientation, onboarding, competency validation, and continuing education programs.
• Ensures educational programs align with clinical standards, accreditation, and organizational goals.
• Coordinates instructor-led, simulation-based, online, and clinical education programs.
• Coordinates national certification courses for MedFlight and MedCare partners (BLS, PALS, ITLS, ACLS).
• Maintains and evaluates competency assessment processes for clinical personnel.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Education Department.
• Maintains Learning Management System (Ninth Brain) and education records; improves utilization and efficiency.
