Job summary

OhioHealth in Kentucky seeks a Course Coordinator for EMS Education to support daily operations and coordinate EMS courses and programs.

You may supervise students during hospital clinical experiences, help develop new education opportunities, and assist with accreditation and interdepartmental liaison duties.

A National Registry paramedic with ACLS/BLS/PALS ITLS or PHTLS and prior teaching experience is required.

Qualifications

• NRP/paramedic certification mandatory.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS required or equivalent.
• Strong teaching and EMS operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EMS Education courses and supervise students during hospital clinicals.

Coordinate specific courses/programs within the EMS education program. May provide supervision/instruction to students during hospital clinical experience. Develop additional education opportunities.**Responsibilities And Duties:**80% Serve as Course Coordinator for EMS Education programs and classes for target audience. May provide supervision/instruction for students during hospital clinical experience. 10% Assist with activities/duties required to maintain accreditation for education offerings. 5% Assist with liaison activities with EMS departments, hospital education departments and specialty organizations. 5% Assist in the development of new/additional EMS education programs, including recruitment/retention of faculty.
