Aprio seeks a Manager, Client Accounting & Advisory Services | Tax to lead a team of tax professionals and deliver high-impact advisory solutions for a diverse client portfolio.

You will drive tax strategy, guide clients through complex challenges, and mentor the next generation of tax talent while advancing in a top CPA and advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in a public accounting environment
• Experience with S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, and Corporate tax returns
• Proficiency in tax software and technology platforms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience managing or leading a team

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, delegating responsibilities and overseeing quality of deliverables
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with current laws, regulations, and client objectives
• Provide consulting services on complex tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring
• Conduct ongoing tax research to identify planning opportunities and stay current with regulatory changes
• Prepare and review tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with applicable tax laws
• Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to manage and resolve tax-related matters effectively
• Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery
• Train, mentor, and support the professional development of team members
