Responsibilities

• Oversee event planning and coordination for city departments and venues.
• Direct and supervise managers, coordinators, and staff; set priorities and schedules.
• Manage public art selection, commissioning, contracting, and installation processes.
• Plan and implement festivals and special events with regulatory compliance.
• Prioritize funding and create budgets; seek new funding resources.
• Coordinate with staff and clients; monitor databases and reporting systems for logistics.
• Lead hiring decisions and guide staff communications across media channels.
