Job summary

FleetPride, the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., is seeking a Strategy and Planning professional to partner with SMEs and suppliers to develop near and long-term category strategies.

You will lead cross-functional reviews, leverage market intelligence and spend analytics to drive sales and margins, and own the product lifecycle from cradle to grave while collaborating with Marketing and Supply teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning and category management.
• Strong analytical skills using market intelligence and spend analytics.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry and competitive analysis to inform category strategy.
• Lead cross-functional reviews to define assortment, marketing, sourcing, and supply strategies.
• Own product lifecycle from cradle to grave with suppliers.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities to assess supplier capabilities (as needed).
• Ensure supplier performance aligns with contracted service levels.
