We’re looking for new team members who get excited about designing and delivering new and better products. Come join us and help build a better financial future for millions of people.

About the Role:We are looking for a Manager to join our Capital Markets team, with a focus on hands‑on execution across Upgrade's institutional funding programs — warehouse facilities, forward flow whole loan sales, and securitizations — spanning our lending products (personal loan, home improvement, indirect auto, BNPL, Card and more). This is an execution‑oriented seat: you will be the primary or backup point person keeping live transactions moving day to day, working alongside the team's Institutional and FI execution leads.

This position reports into the VP of Capital Markets and is based in our San Francisco office in a hybrid capacity (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in office).

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as primary or backup execution support on a subset of Upgrade's lending products, partnering with the Institutional and FI Execution Leads on live warehouse, forward flow, and securitization transactions
  • Own the day to day mechanics of deal execution: allocation reports, purchase confirmations, loan tape reviews, funding and settlement coordination, and closing checklists
  • Support warehouse and ABS reporting as a backup owner — covenant monitoring, borrowing base calculations, and timely delivery of investor reporting deliverables, in partnership with the team's warehouse reporting leads
  • Review and help negotiate legal documentation for structured finance transactions (purchase agreements, servicing agreements, side letters) alongside internal and outside counsel
  • Analyze collateral performance using Excel, SQL, and Tableau to support pricing, structuring, and ongoing surveillance discussions
  • Coordinate with Institutional Sale and Investor Ops stakeholders to ensure a smooth experience for bank, credit union, and institutional investor counterparties
  • Work cross‑functionally with investor sales, credit, product, treasury, and engineering teams to support balance sheet management and data integrity across funding channels
  • Support onboarding of new institutional investors, warehouse facilities, and securitization counterparties, including operational setup and due diligence
  • Take on ownership of ad hoc projects as the team's funding programs scale

What We Look For:

  • 4 + years of experience in capital markets, asset‑backed finance, or a related consumer lending function.
  • Familiarity with consumer lending and credit underwriting, and asset‑based/structured finance more broadly (warehouse facilities, forward flow, and/or ABS)
  • Proficient in Excel; SQL and/or Tableau experience a plus
  • Execution‑oriented — comfortable owning deliverables and deadlines on live transactions in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to work directly with external counterparties
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and strong client service skills
