Job summary

Broward Health is seeking a Manager of Business Operations for the Broward Health Point region. The role oversees and coordinates ambulatory business operations, manages customer service, billing, collections and cash posting within the Physician Business Office, and ensures efficient, compliant processes.

The position acts as project manager for PBO tasks, resolves issues to support timely claim payments, and upholds Broward Health's commitment to financial integrity and quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.
• Five years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate business operations for Broward Health Point centers.
• Supervise direct and indirect reception ambulatory business staff.
• Ensure compliant billing, collections, cash posting and reconciliations.
• Serve as project manager for tasks related to Physician Business Office operations.

Education

The duties of responsibilities include but not limited to supervision of the work of direct and indirect reception ambulatory business specialist and business office coordinators in support of customer service billing collections and cash posting within the Physician Business Office assuring offices are managed efficiently and in an accountable manner. Serves as project manager for assigned tasks related to PBO operations. Work to resolve issues to ensure prompt payment of claims and adherence to compliance regulations. Must possess the knowledge to ensure compliant billing collections cash posting/reconciliation in order to conduct self-audits and implement actions based on findings to maintain the quality and integrity of Broward Health while supporting the financial viability.
