Job description

Bloomerang combines the best tools, resources, and people to provide a world-class experience for tens of thousands of nonprofits, allowing them to raise more money and do more good in the world. Our powerful software and stellar customer service have made us one of the highest rated fundraising/donor CRMs on the market.

In addition to creating thriving nonprofits, we’re also in the business of creating thriving employees. At Bloomerang, you’ll be a part of a mission-driven culture built on the core values of Simplify, Care, and Act. We know the key to our success is our people, and we’re proud to be home to some of the most innovative and skilled employees in the workforce today.

The Role

We’re looking for a high-impact Outbound BDR Manager to lead a team of BDRs focused on prospecting and qualifying net new logos for the business. This role is ideal for a driven, operationally minded, and motivating leader who thrives leading high-performing teams in a quick paced SaaS environment. You will be responsible for coaching and developing BDRs to become top-performing pipeline generators and developing the team as the talent pool for the sales organization.

You are process-obsessed, grit-driven, and deeply invested in cultivating talent. You know that outbound prospecting is both an art and a science—and you’re passionate about instilling discipline, creativity, and confidence in your team to break through the noise.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Number: Lead an Outbound BDR team focused on creating net-new pipeline for our sales org. You will be responsible for hitting monthly team goals and ensuring consistent, quality opportunity creation.
  • Coach to Excellence: Provide hands-on coaching in cold calling, messaging, and account targeting, with a strong focus on our nonprofit buyer and use cases. Build a high-performing culture where feedback is frequent, progress is visible, and wins are celebrated.
  • Drive Operational Rigor: Manage performance using data. Track key KPIs (activity, conversion, pipeline) to diagnose gaps and continuously improve outreach strategies and process efficiency.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Enablement to align on strategy, prioritize accounts, and maintain a steady cadence of high-quality pipeline generation.
  • Maximize Tech Stack: Ensure smart adoption of tools (Outreach, SFDC, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Sales Nav, etc.) to improve productivity, scale outreach, and drive rep accountability.
  • Build Talent: Run onboarding, training, and career development programs to grow early-career BDRs into top performers and internal pipeline for AE and other roles.
  • Improve What You Touch: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve team output, and raise the bar—then take the lead in solving them.

What You’ll Bring (or What You Need to Succeed)

  • Minimum 1 year leading high-velocity outbound BDR or SDR teams, ideally in SaaS
  • Proven ability to hit pipeline targets and coach early-career reps to success
  • Strong operational skills—you’re comfortable managing performance data, improving workflows, and holding reps accountable
  • A passion for people development and a belief that great coaching unlocks performance
  • Experience with a modern GTM stack (Outreach, Salesforce, 6Sense, etc.)
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with a bias toward action and ownership
  • Creativity, grit, and energy to motivate a team and foster a strong culture of accountability and growth

Health + Wellness
You’ll have access to generous health, vision, and dental insurance options as well as HealthiestYou, a healthcare service that offers convenient, confidential access to quality doctors 24/7, anytime, anywhere.

Time Off

You’ll get a competitive PTO package that includes 20 PTO days, 3 flex days, 4 optional volunteer Days, 12 paid holidays, as well as paid parental leave.
