Job summary

Tower Health is looking for a Budget Analyst to support the budgeting process and financial reporting across its physician practices. You will help set up budgets, review operating budgets and assist with future year plans, reporting at practice and provider levels, and guiding financial decision-making.

You will also supervise a team of Financial/Reporting Analysts and ensure data accuracy across Lawson, EPIC, WebFocus and Kaufman Hall, reconciling modules to core financial systems as part of

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain the budget process using Kaufman Hall Budget Advisor.
  • Review physician practices' operating budget and expenses and assist with future year budgets.
  • Ad hoc reporting, robust monthly reporting at practice and provider levels, and support for financial decision making.
  • Supervise a team of Financial/Reporting Analysts.
  • Analyze overages/underages, spend and revenue and prepare statistical reports.
  • Ensure data in Lawson, EPIC, WebFocus and Kaufman Hall reflects financial results and reconcile modules to core systems.

Job description

Job Summary
  • Under the direction of the Director of Budgeting/Financial Analysis/Reporting, this position is responsible for setup and maintenance of the budget process utilizing the Kaufman Hall Budget Advisor system, ongoing review of the physician practices' operating budget and expenses, as well as assistance with the formulation of future year budgets.
  • Responsibilities include assisting the Director of Budgeting/Financial Analysis/Reporting with ad hoc reporting, building robust monthly reporting at a practice level and provider level as well as supporting financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data and supervising a team of Financial/Reporting Analysts.
  • This position also facilitates the analysis of overages/underage, spending and revenue and prepares various statistical reports.
  • In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring that the data being aggregated and reported utilizing the Physician Enterprise's financial systems such as Lawson, EPIC, WebFocus and Kaufman Hall accurately reflects the financial results of the organization and engages Finance staff to routinely reconcile the modules to core financial systems to verify accuracy.
