Job summary

Red Bull USA is seeking a Manager, Brand Planning & Operations to lead the end-to-end annual Brand Marketing planning process and coordinate cross-functional brand topics across teams and leadership.

You will translate brand strategy, consumer insights and business priorities into actionable plans, design planning forums and drive improvements in planning processes using data, while collaborating with senior leaders to execute with precision.

  • 6+ years of experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager, Brand Planning & Operations serves as a connector for driving brand performance. The role leads the end-to-end annual Brand Marketing business planning process while managing the day-to-day organisation of cross-functional Brand topics.

Working closely with Brand Leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll turn brand strategy, consumer insights and business priorities into clear, actionable marketing plans that drive brand health, business growth and organisational alignment.

You’ll also design and facilitate planning forums, workshops and training to strengthen planning excellence, brand standards and consistency across teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive and comfortable bringing structure to complex environments. You’ll need strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through and the ability to work strategically with senior leaders while also getting into the detail to make sure things get done.

BRAND PLANNING
  • Manage the annual Brand Marketing planning process, bringing strategies and insights from brand functions together into clear, cohesive planning deliverables.
  • Provide structure and guidance to Brand Leadership, setting clear expectations and supporting innovation.
  • Identify consumer and business opportunities using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Use market research, consumer insights, brand health metrics, analytics and progress reports to inform annual business plans and longer-term strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional Brand meetings to align on major initiatives, in-year pivots and go-to-market strategy.
  • Own brand standards development, documentation and enforcement across Product Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Initiatives, Point-of-Sale, Advertising, Student and Field Marketing.
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and tools, using technology and automation where possible.
  • Support organisational change and help teams adapt to new opportunities and challenges.
BRAND OPERATIONS, REPORTING & DOCUMENTATION
  • Analyse key data and present insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate the business case opportunity process across Brand.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management, highlighting risks and proposing solutions.
  • Develop and own reporting processes and tools to communicate Brand Marketing results, learnings and best practices.
  • Identify and improve critical Brand processes, platforms and ways of working.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis against tight deadlines as required by Brand Marketing leadership.
  • Monitor consumer, social, industry and business trends that could impact Red Bull’s growth.
  • Support the creation of pitch decks, reports, updates and other Brand materials.
  • Lead major reporting projects including quarterly updates, all-hands meeting content and country visits, owning the narrative and story.
  • Lead ongoing competitive analysis to monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Own annual business planning timelines, tools and processes across the RBNA Brand Marketing team.
  • Ensure alignment across National, Regional and Global stakeholders.
  • Lead the Regional Brand Marketing planning process and ensure cross-functional deliverables are delivered on time.
  • Ensure local plans align with National Brand Marketing strategy and direction.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar of key Regional, National and Global meetings.
  • Own the strategy, research, development and cross-functional rollout of a project management platform designed to simplify processes, improve execution and support long-term business outcomes.
TRAINING
  • Plan the training calendar and content for Regional, National and Field Brand Marketing teams.
  • Lead and coordinate Red Bull brand onboarding training.
  • Research additional training, education products and external speakers based on team knowledge needs and emerging trends.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience working within a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.
  • Exceptional networking and communication skills, including presentation and facilitation.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional planning processes and large-scale initiatives involving executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex workstreams under tight deadlines.
  • Highly proactive, with a strong bias toward action and the ability to anticipate needs, prioritise effectively and escal… issues appropriately.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The base salary range for this position is $85,360–$128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change.
