Job summary

Weber State University seeks a Manager, Apparel/Insignia to lead the Wildcat Store operations, including product assortment and customer experience across all locations.

You will develop strategies with the Store Director to optimize sales, profitability, and staff effectiveness, while ensuring adherence to budgets and policies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and retail management experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary/Basic Function

This position is responsible for the performance, facilitation, and supervision of apparel and insignia items for all locations of the Wildcat Store. In correlation with the Wildcat Store Director and Associate Director, develops the overall operational strategy for the store and implements operational plans to drive sales, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Ensures that store goals, sales events, projects, and staffing needs are met and adhere to approved budgets.

Required Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


• 2 years of general retail experience


• 2 years supervisory experience


• Experience with budgets

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

• Working Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite: ERP , CRM , Suite Commerce


• Proven experience in leading and participating in work teams


• Communicate effectively both orally and in written form

The annual salary for this position starts at $50,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package.
