The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in lean warehousing practices, a track record of managing and relocating distribution centers, and proven experience working with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a high-performing warehouse and logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Champion facility expansion and operational optimization initiatives through Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Oversee end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations across North America, including inbound logistics, outbound fulfillment, and inventory control.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets for warehouse and logistics functions, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Conduct in-depth cost analysis and implement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Implement and sustain Lean warehouse practices to enhance throughput, minimize waste, and improve overall performance.
  • Design and maintain optimized logistics networks to support high on-time delivery rates and reduce cost-to-serve metrics.
  • Develop and execute contingency plans to mitigate risks within the supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners to align warehouse operations with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Lead warehouse transitions and relocations, including facility setup, resource allocation, and third-party logistics (3PL) coordination.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including oversight of 3PL providers and carrier performance.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with 3PL partners to ensure scalability, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, shipping cost per unit, and warehouse productivity to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives including Sales & Operations Planning (SIOP), procurement alignment, and customer service integration.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in warehouse and distribution management, preferably in the automotive aftermarket or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in lean warehouse operations and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Proven success in managing or relocating warehouse facilities and leading 3PL operations.
  • Experience in managing cross-border distribution within North America (U.S., Canada, Mexico).
  • Familiarity with tariff impacts, customs processes, and duty optimization strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing distributed teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in WMS, ERP, and logistics optimization tools.
