Job summary

564 Marken LLP, part of UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, seeks a Manager, Operations in the Advanced Therapy Division (NORAM) to oversee day-to-day performance across North America. You will ensure service quality, regulatory compliance, and commitments to customers and patients in advanced therapies.

Lead operations teams, coordinate with global partners, and drive improvements while aligning budgets with business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management experience with end-to-end process oversight.
• Experience overseeing cryogenic, ultra-low temperature and controlled ambient packaging operations.
• Expertise in warehousing, space allocation and inventory management.
• Ability to plan roadmaps with advanced analytics and data-driven decisions.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and talent development.
• Excellent interpersonal, budgeting and financial management skills.
• Customer-service oriented with problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in healthcare logistics, pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of air and ground freight ops and carrier relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Background in critical healthcare supply chain management; Lean/Six Sigma/PMP/MBA/PhD is a plus.
• Understanding of advanced therapy and precision logistics in cell and gene therapy.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coaching operations teams
• Managing the daily business including packaging, cryogenic fulfilment, warehousing, optimizing processes, managing capacity and resources
• Coordinating with global counterparts to maintain a seamless end-to-end supply chain
• Monitors operational metrics, identifies risk areas, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures budgets and cost controls are aligned with business goals
• Serves as a senior point of contact for key clients, collaborating with commercial and quality teams to resolve issues, improve customer experience, and support strategic growth initiatives in advanced therapies.
