Qualifications

  • MBA or other related Master's degree from an accredited program preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages staff to ensure effective and efficient delivery of departmental objectives.
  • Provides leadership to staff to ensure short and long term goals are met by developing standards of performance and capitalizing on employee strengths.
  • Works cooperatively with other departments within the Medical Center to ensure collaboration on special projects and implements services supporting the mission and objectives of the Hospital.
  • Assumes responsibility for financial performance by meeting financial objectives for the department and division through operational and capital equipment budget preparation, CE requests, budget and inventory monitoring.
  • Participates in strategic and operational planning to design, implement, and evaluate programmatic needs and ensure that optimal service levels are provided.
  • Assists Departmental Supervisors/Managers with the service operations. Develops reports to allow analysis, trending and problem identification for department. Implements improvements to increase the efficiency and quality outcomes within the department.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations and coordinates operational aspects of systems including revising workflows, forms and procedures, identifying and designing reports required for operations and monitoring implementation timeliness.
