Senior Data Consultant (Remote)

Manages a team responsible for supporting value-based contracting across the organization, including analysis of contract opportunities, development of contract terms, and performance reporting. Extracts, analyzes, and synthesizes data from various sources to identify risks, as well as packaging and delivering the results to senior leadership.

Job Duties:

  1. Perform analysis of historical cost baselines.
  2. Oversee the development of contract terms and document assumptions.
  3. Design and perform actuarial studies related to medical care costs and trends.
  4. Support ad-hoc projects related to contract analysis, new business development, financial projections, budgeting, and acquisitions.
  5. Manage and provide technical guidance and leadership to Actuarial staff.
  6. Review reporting prepared by others to ensure consistency and appropriateness of methodologies used. Interpret results and recommend solutions to identified issues.
  7. Stay updated on professional developments and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles
  • Certifications: Must have passed at least 4 actuarial exams
  • Preferred: ASA or near ASA
