Job summary

US Heart and Vascular, located in Franklin, TN, seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function across sites. You will oversee invoice processing, coding, approvals, and timely payments while nurturing vendor relationships and collaboration with the AP Director.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in high-volume AP, proven leadership, and experience with system transitions and integrations in a multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in a high-volume AP department.
• Proven experience in managing and leading an AP team.
• Experience with system transitions and integrations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoices and employee expense reimbursement processing, coding, approvals, and payment disbursement.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions related to accounts payable.
• Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely invoicing and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve AP efficiency.
• Lead the AP team, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Assist in onboarding integrations and AP system implementations for new practices.
• Support month-end accruals with the corporate accounting team.

This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. The AP Manager works closely with the AP Director to ensure assigned to AP Specialist day-to-day activities are accomplished including accurate general ledger coding of invoices, timely submission of accruals, and other assigned duties to ensure good standing with vendors and internal partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-site/multi-entity environments, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt, collaborate, and work through complex problems in fast-paced, deadline driven environments.
