Job summary

Subway Tulsa is seeking a Manager to lead daily operations, deliver an excellent guest experience, supervise staff, recruit, plan local promotions, and ensure food safety and cleanliness.

You will manage inventory, money control, and participate in marketing initiatives; strong communication and computer skills are essential, with the ability to work full-time and adapt to varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication with all levels of team members.
• Ability to operate Point of Sale system and basic computer skills.
• Minimum 2 years in a restaurant environment with supervising and training staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Job description

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things:

• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served

• Managing inventory and money control systems
• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach

• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience

A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
