Job summary

Subway in Mississippi is seeking a dedicated Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations. The role focuses on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, and team leadership to drive performance.

You will recruit and train staff, ensure safety and security, manage records and analyze sales, support local marketing, and plan promotions. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a restaurant environment with supervisory experience.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things:

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

Must have a valid driver's license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
