Job summary

A private outpatient medical practice in San Antonio, TX is seeking a permanent Clinical Manager to join their team. This full-time role offers a Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule, no weekends, and a salary of $60k annually with full benefits.

The Clinical Manager will supervise Medical Assistants and floor staff, handle patient complaints, manage workflows and rooming protocols, and oversee attendance and performance. Experience with eClinicalWorks is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Biology, Pre-Med, or related field OR proven experience as Clinical Floor Supervisor/Outpatient Operations Supervisor.
• Strong leadership, high emotional intelligence, and the confidence to hold staff accountable.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks is required.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and stay calm on a fast-paced clinic floor.

Responsibilities

• Manage Medical Assistants and floor staff.
• Field immediate patient complaints and clinical floor escalations during clinic hours.
• Oversee clinical workflows, rooming checklists, floor protocols; manage shared drive documentation and upkeep; ensure exam room prep and supply stocking.
• Handle attendance, warnings, performance plans, and terminations for floor staff.
• Perform daily timecard edits and time-off coverage approvals in Rippling.
• Onboard new Medical Assistants and conduct 30-day proficiency checks.

Clinical Manager Responsibilities
